The restaurant is outstanding lovely staff and atmosphere. Great pity that apart from the few supervisors around the other workers are terribly thick ! Check out girls are totally rubbish.!

Good garden centre with knowledgeable staff. In Summer it has a fantastic sand pit bigger than some beaches. In winter a real ice ring. Coffee shop/restaurant is open until 7pm with very friendly staff, a great selection of cakes and a variety of fresh hot and salad type meals to suit most tastes. Not too pricey either compared with other local Garden Centres. There is an unsupervised play area for the younger visitors and an interesting train shaped tables for them to use when having their breaks and refreshments, my only observation that security could be better here with a child proof latch and gate. At present if you turn your back for a second they're off and picking you flowers.(Could be expensive). A minor observation on a premises which is trying hard to be perfect. Nearly there. For aquarium fans there is a good selection of pond and aquarium paraphernalia. As well as a good variety of fish and water life including the inevitable plants and feeds. There is also a fur and feather selection ranging from mice, rats and hamsters to vagaries, finches and parrots. My grand son (3years old) spent 5 minutes talking to a caged parrot before realising it hadn't moved and was in fact plastic. The real ones are out of cages and seem well cared for. It's my grandsons favourite place to visit after pre school.
